MOUNTAIN BOARD GIRLIE CAMP UPDATE!!!

Hi girls!

For those of you that didn't receive an email about the Girlie Camp, here's a brief note about what is going down this Summer..

South West Mountain Board Centre nr Bideford, North Devon is hosting the World's First Mountain Boarding Girlie Camp from 1st to 3rd June 2007. Some of the country's top lady riders and ATBA qualified instructors will be there offering expert tuition to novices and pros alike. Other things to look forward to are the opportunity for a surfing lesson, campfires, goody bags, optional longboarding/skate sessions, expert demos with a twist, a charity raffle with the chance to win a Vixen mountain board, and generally a good laugh with other girls who like to ride!

Now for the update...

Fat Face have just announced their support of the event and are coming in as a sponsor in addition to Boardology, MBS and SCRUB....more to follow!

Cooler Magazine(www.coolermag.com) will be running an online competition on our behalf shortly giving you the opportunity to win an MBS Vixen Mountain Board, Scrub Pad Set and Helmet...we'll let you know when it's live!

Curious about what we're going to get up to? Here's a sketchy outline for you...
FRIDAY...pitch tents & chill out by the campfire with some grub at the site or a trip to the pub...
SATURDAY...After breakfast, get kitted out with your boards & gear and head to the grassy slopes to get dirty! Intro sessions for newbies or free riding time around the site for those that can already ride. Improver sessions for mixed level groups focusing on different techniques including freestyle, racing and general cruising. Massage will be available throughout the afternoon. Later we'll head to the beach for a surf lesson for those who want, otherwise feel free to stay at the centre and work on those new manoeuvres! We'll be relaxing with some food by the campfire in the evening or taking a stroll to the pub.
SUNDAY...gentle start after breakfast developing your newly learnt skills. Expert individual tuition on hand all through the morning. After lunch we'll have a mini competition for those who want followed by the charity raffles, goody bags and prizes! Then pack up and smile all the way home with some great memories...
