FREE 3-5 working day delivery to all MAINLAND UK destinations.
At the moment we are offering Free Mainland UK Delivery on all orders. Orders placed before 12 noon are usually despatched within 1 working day via 1st class post or Team C couriers on a next working day service, subject to all items being in stock. If there is going to be a delay for any reason, we will contact you.
All quoted delivery times are based on standard working days i.e. Mon - Fri, and exclude all UK Bank or Public Holidays.
We will do all that we can to get your order to you within or sooner than 3 - 5 working days, but will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. If the goods are not delivered within the quoted delivery time please contact us and we will do everything reasonably possible to speed things up.
GETTING IT QUICKER
Parcels under 2kgs
If you would like to arrange to pay for your order to reach you sooner than our 3 - 5 day period, subject to availability, please contact us on 01379 652218 and we will discuss the best and cheapest options for you. For smaller parcels under 2kg we will use Royal Mail Special Delivery Service which usually guarantees next working day delivery by 1:00pm. The charge for this service with be £6.00. For Saturday special deliveries the Charge will be £8.00 except for the Scottish Highlands - please enquire for more details.
Parcels over 2kgs
For larger parcels such as boards and items over 2kg we will use Team C Couriers and the rate for mainland UK delivery will be £8.00 for guaranteed delivery by 4:00pm the next working day. For guaranteed Saturday delivery the courier fee is£25.
However, if you live in the following places you probably already know it's harder to deliver to you quickly, so please be patient and allow 2-3 extra days for your parcel to reach you: Isle Of Man; Northern Ireland; Orkney Islands; Isle of Lewis; Scottish Islands; Scottish Highlands; Inverness; Aberdeen; Renfrewshire; Kirkcaldy; Orkney Isles; Truro; Shetland Islands; Isles of Scilly.
Orders sent by courier or special delivery will require a signature on receipt and hence we cannot delivery to any P. O. Box addresses. Please ensure that someone is present at the delivery address to sign for the order. Any additional charges that may be incurred if the item is not taken delivery of and has to be returned to us are the customer's responsibility. We prefer that the customer checks the parcel on delivery however if you are unable to do this please sign for it as 'unchecked' as we will be unable to claim for damaged goods if you have signed for them as received in good condition.
OFFSHORE UK DELIVERY
Free delivery applies to MAINLAND UK only. Regrettably, anyone wishing to place an order orders from UK offshore destinations including the Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly, Scottish Islands, Western Isles, Orkney Islands, Shetland Islands and Northern Ireland will need to contact us by email (enquiries@boardology.co.uk) before purchasing anything from the website. We will need to first quote you on the delivery methods available and any charges. For offshore UK destinations, if the item is lightweight and can be sent via Royal Mail then we are happy to consider reducing the postage fee. Please email us if you would like to query the postage fee.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We welcome International orders, however we do not currently have an automated service to process them. If you live anywhere outside the UK and wish to make an order, please email enquiries@boardology.co.uk, quoting the item name, code, description and your postal details. We will reply with further instructions and details of delivery times and costs. Please do not email your credit card details.
TRACKING AND TRACING YOUR DELIVERY
We usually use Royal Mail or Team C Couriers for our UK mainland deliveries, however occasionally may use an alternative courier. Team C are a reliable and flexible company so if you would like them to leave your parcel with a neighbour or somewhere safe please email this information to us once you have placed your order.
If your parcel has been sent by Royal Mail we will usually have emailed you the tracking number for your parcel which you can use on the Royal Mail site www.royalmail.com to trace your parcel. Simply click on 'Track and Trace' and enter your 13 digit number. The status of your order will be shown.
SECURITY
In the past we have fallen victim to fraudsters who have purchased high priced items from our website and had them delivered to alternative addresses. As a result, although we are usually more than happy to accommodate our customers as much as possible, in certain (and rare) circumstances we may have to ask you to provide extra proof of your billing address such as a copy of a utility bill or bank statement before we are able to deliver your goods.
