LOADED - VANGUARD LONGBOARD
Sustainable Bamboo Core
Loaded Longboards are now using Bamboo as their new core material for all their Loaded Longboards. They are stronger, lighter and more durable. Further, since Bamboo is a grass, it is a more renewable resource, growing 10 times faster than Oak. Bamboo continues growing after being cut - leading to less environmental damage due to new growth and associated forest fire hazards. All this allows a reduction in the toxicity in the production of the core.
Snowboard Style Freeriding at its Finest!
With a symmetrical shape and stance for a balanced centre of gravity as well as the ability to weight and unweight the deck through turns for control and efficient energy generation, these performance downhill boards will change the way you experience topography.
Preloaded with concave and camber, and Loaded with the best components available, this convergence of skateboard and snowboard construction results in a dynamically Loaded, flexible and highly tuned board. The cores on all our cambered / concave boards are exclusively vert lam Bamboo. Increased energy return results in an even more dynamic ride. These cores are significantly stronger and more durable than our old oak cores.

DECK
There are currently 5 different options based on the spec above for your choice of Deck rated by Flex and Stance preference, which we have entered in the 'SIZE' drop down option for your selection.
- Flex 5: 38” Medium Stance: 31- 72 Kg’s
- Flex 4: 38” Medium Stance: 54 to 77 Kg’s
- Flex 3: 38” Medium Stance: 68 to 90 Kg’s
- Flex 2: 42” Wide Stance: 68 to 95 Kg’s
- Flex 1: 42” Wide Stance: 80 to 105 Kg’s
A softer flex pattern will give you more control and tighter turns at slower speeds, however a softer board is more prone to lose stability at higher speeds.
If you plan on doing a lot of hard pounding tricks: shovits, bonelesses, etc, a stiff flex will hold up better. Note: It is natural for the boards to break in and become slightly flexier over time.
