Sustainable Bamboo Core

Loaded Longboards are now using Bamboo as their new core material for all their Loaded Longboards.  They are stronger, lighter and more durable.  Further, since Bamboo is a grass, it is a more renewable resource, growing 10 times faster than Oak.  Bamboo continues growing after being cut - leading to less environmental damage due to new growth and associated forest fire hazards.  All this allows a reduction in the toxicity in the production of the core.

RIDE

You will stop sleeping. Sorry, but it's true. Versatile, light and fluid, this board is designed to promote an assertive, dynamic riding style. It'll hold it's own on hills, banks, commuting, and beer runs. But if you're anything like us, it's all about the late night parking garage sessions. Glassy eyes and a permanent grin.

• Construction: Epoxy and Tri-axle fiberglasssandwich a vert-lam Bamboo core, pressed into concave and convex cambers for liveliness, responsiveness and high energy potential.
  

DECK

Currently Available in four flexes:

Flex 1: 200-280+lbs / 90-125+kg
Flex 2: 190-250+lbs / 85-115+kg
Flex 3: 140-220+lbs / 65-100+kg
Flex 4: 80-190+lbs / 36-85+kg
 
A softer flex pattern will give you more control and tighter turns at slower speeds, however it’s more prone to lose stability at higher speeds. If you plan on doing a lot of hard pounding tricks: shovits, bonelesses, etc, a stiff flex will hold up better.

Note: It is natural for the boards to break in and become slightly flexier over time.
